Print & Finish Labels Quickly
With a Memjet-powered L801 industrial label printer built in, the DLP-2000 can print and finish labels at up to 30 ft/min (9 m/min) at 1600 x 1600 dpi to create vivid, photograph-quality color labels.

Convert Blank Label Stock
The DLP-2000 can also create die-cut labels that are ready for printing. With a 14″ flexible die, it’s possible to run the DLP-2000 in full-rotary mode which will convert blank labels at a rate of over 140 ft/ min (43 m/min).

The DLP-2000 Mini Digital Label Press brings together the incredible speed, quality and economical low cost-per-print of Memjet technology with the precision and performance of RotoMetrics®* magnetic cylinders and dies. The RotoMetrics cylinder accepts flexible dies up to 12″ in length, allowing for fast, accurate die cutting of any shape, including perforations.

Adding WasatchTM SoftRIP allows printers to dial-in precise, consistent color, and even utilize ICC Profiles to more closely match the output of traditional Flexographic and offset presses. It’s now possible to produce short-run labels, without the high price tag associated with most digital presses. The DLP-2000 delivers flexibility, quality, and speed, making digital production accessible and profitable.

*The DLP-2000 is compatible with your existing RotoMetrics dies. If you are familiar with color label presses, the functions DLP-2000 will be very familiar to you.

Memjet Printhead ComponentsAfinia Label printers feature “Waterfall” Technology. Simply put, our Memjet-powered L801 Digital Color Label Printer features 70,400 jets per printhead that shoot 700 million ink drops per second.

It’s more energy efficient. It’s more mechanically sound. And, it’s up to eight times faster. Even faster than most black and white printers. The technology is a radical shift in printhead design. It literally changes everything and has a useful life of up to millions of inches of printed labels. Also, since the printhead is stationary with the paper moving underneath, there are less moving parts, for added speed and reliability.

The L801 Industrial Color Label Printer is a digital label printer that uses Memjet technology, allowing you to print high-impact, full-color output at up to 60 ft/min (18 m/min).
